Pop the Fossil Fuel Bubble

Join XR and friends on Monday April 24th at noon, Pioneer Courthouse Square for street theater and bubble fun as we call on banks to end their financing of fossil fuel projects. We are in the midst of a climate crisis that will only get worse if we continue to burn fossil fuels. The four biggest funders of fossil fuel projects are Wells Fargo, Chase Bank, Bank of America, and Citibank.

What can you do?

• Withdraw your money from those banks and deposit elsewhere. A credit union is a good choice.

• Cut up your credit cards from those banks.

• Use the contact info below to connect with the banks and tell them what you’ve done and why. (Or if you do not bank with them, tell them you will not bank with them as long as they continue to fund fossil fuel projects.)
