In a stunning announcement Multnomah County filed a lawsuit seeking $51 billion against more than a dozen fossil fuel companies for their role in the deadly 2021 heat dome that was responsible for a large number of deaths in the Portland area.
XRPDX along with many other climate activist friends walked across the Hawthorne Bridge and were present for the announcement of the lawsuit.
