Extinction Rebellion US and XRPDX are not affiliated with nor do we support XR America. This offshoot from the national XR organization has replaced the XR US 4th Demand with an amorphous “demand” that is just a statement about climate breakdown and includes no mention of justice. The foundation of XR America is based on the false idea that responding to the Climate and Ecological Emergency (CEE) is separate from engaging in the intersectional struggle for climate justice, centering racial and class issues.
