Webinar: “Climate Resistance: Art, Action and Allyship”

The Necessity documentary team invites you to a special webinar panel on Thursday, May 6th, 6-7:30 pm titled “Climate Resistance: Art, Action and Allyship.”

Hosted by Portland State University, the panel includes artists, activists and an attorney who bring their wisdom and knowledge to the Necessity film project. This two-part documentary features Indigenous leadership responding to the climate crisis, and shows how activists are using legal tactics, including the necessity defense, in the fight to save the planet.

Registered attendees will receive a link to watch Necessity Part I: Oil, Water and Climate Resistance with their donation, and will also get a link to the panel five days before the May 6th event. Contributions to this event support Necessity Part II, currently in post-production, which includes scenes from XRPDX’s founding event, the building of a garden on Zenith oil train tracks. Tickets are available via Eventbrite and more information about the project at our website and on social media at @necessitythemovie:
