Divest Oregon has partnered with progressive state legislators to introduce HB 4083: The COAL Act (Clean Oregon Assets Legislation)l that would require Oregon Divestment from Coal which is likely to become a stranded asset and poses huge health and environmental risks. The first short session hearing on the bill is likely to be this Thursday, February 8, 2024 and testimony must be submitted within 48 hours of that hearing.
