Since last spring, the National Restructure Working Group (NRWG) has been meeting to design a new structure for our organization with up to two representatives from chapters being able to participate.
In November, the NRWG hired two consultants to help with best practices and conflict resilience and they helped us to create a roadmap with various sub-groups working on different pieces of the process, including topics like chapter engagement, conflict resilience, equity and process improvements.
The NRWG posts four-to-six week digests on the progress with the goal of the process being fully transparent and co-created by XRUS chapters in support of our 4th Demand. Any questions about the process can be addressed to our two XRPDX representatives at our monthly chapter meeting, the next of which is Tuesday, February 9th.
