Valentine’s Day message delivered!
On Friday, February 19th the caravan starting at the Zenith site processed through the city to City Hall to deliver one more message to Stop the Zenith fossil fuel infrastructure. There were chalked messages, Zenith break up songs on the loudspeaker, and many people gathered to educate the City Council members about the danger Zenith poses, and the harm it is causing. While much fun was had, the message is deadly serious.
And now it’s time to follow up with instructive emails directed at the City Council members, especially Dan Ryan, who oversees the Bureau of Development Services, giving him much more leverage in stopping the expansion and shutting it all down. Tell the City it’s time to follow through with their commitment and hold Zenith accountable: Deny them all permits!
