Solidarity with Wet’suwet’en land defenders

The Royal Canadian Mounted police, using attack K9 dogs, invaded Wet’suwet’en tribal lands on behalf of Coastal GasLink pipeline. Cops hacked into buildings, arresting 32 native land defenders, and burning native buildings to the ground. For more on this most recent assault, please see Democracy Now coverage.

This is an atrocity, especially given that so-called British Columbia was simultaneously in the midst of devastating flooding displacing 17000 from their homes. This, on the heels of a disastrous summer of wildfires, drought, and a heat dome that had killed 600 people—all the result of the very climate chaos that the land defenders were/are trying to prevent!

Please take action in solidarity with these courageous climate warriors:
Send a Fax to TC Energy CEO and President, and RCMP Commisioner Mike Farnsworth.
