Save Trees, Protect Wetlands, Expand a Park!

From East County Rising:

Help protect a Rockwood community park and prevent a massive tree removal. Trees and wetlands sequester carbon, provide wildlife habitat and make life better for the humans living in the area. Metro has shown that East county needs far more tree canopy, not less. Support expanding this community park bordering the Grant Butte Wetlands. Metro can help protect this land and expand the park by partnering with Gresham to buy and protect the land.

Take action today by asking Metro and East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District to help save the property.
