Our global economy is not serving the vast majority of the planet’s inhabitants. Driven by an addiction to profit and growth and controlled by wealthy elites, it has created an ever widening gap between the haves and the have nots. And it’s destroying our only home, the Earth. Business as usual is not an option.
While those with wealth and power created this system, we, the majority of people, can recreate it. Together, we can reinvent and manage our global household, in each community, from the bottom up. We can make it small scale, equitable, democratic, participatory, collaborative, and regenerative. We can grow a new wellbeing economy that serves us all – one that prioritizes the environment, mutual aid, and care work, protects all the Earth’s inhabitants, and brings a natural abundance that money can’t buy.
