Peace and Climate Action: What Do They Mean for Our Movement?

September 15, 2025, 6 – 7:30 pm
Braided River Gallery, Lloyd Center
2nd floor, west end past “Golden Horn Jewelry”
NE Portland
RSVP: info@xrpdx.org

This event is part of the Global Week of Action for Peace and Climate Justice.

Peace and Climate Justice: we read, write, say, and sometimes chant these words in actions, but what do they really mean to us, individually and collectively, as activists in the Extinction Rebellion Movement? Join us as we gather for brief meditation, short readings, structured discussions, and reflection on regenerative culture. How do peace and climate justice relate, and how can we understand them more deeply, and work more effectively for these values?

Snacks, song, and a closing activity in preparation for Sun Day on September 21 will be included. Optional: bring a journal or notebook and a pen, and/or a small object that relates to peace or climate justice.
