How to Respond to a Climate Emergency: Expand Freeways?

If you are reading this, you probably agree that we are in the midst of a growing climate crisis that can appropriately be called an emergency. However, it looks like if you want to escape the impending collapse of ecosystems everywhere, just go to Salem, OR because it apparently is not happening there. For evidence of that, here is Exhibit A: HB3065, House Speaker Tina Kotek’s plan to expand freeways in the Portland Metro area.
