After a couple of delays due to…weather, our Valentine’s Day action is on for Friday, February 19th! We’re Breaking Up With Zenith! For real this time!
We have some new City Council members who need a reminder about why it’s time to Break Up With Zenith. For years, people have been vocally and visibly opposing Zenith Energy but haven’t yet been able to stop this dirty, dangerous, climate-killing operation. But this spring, some permit renewals are due and the City of Portland has an opportunity to weigh in and possibly stop Zenith.
Join us for some lighthearted fun to tell the city that this is time to put a stop to the engine of death and destruction that is Zenith Energy!
The day starts with a car caravan at La Quinta Inn (4319 NW Yeon Ave) near the Zenith facility at 9:30 am, which will then make its way to City Hall around 11 am, where we’ll have art, chalk and a #BreakUpWithZenith mixtape!
