Join in solidarity with youth around our planet striking for climate justice on September 15. Strikes are planned in Bend, Eugene, Salem, and Portland.

Everyone is invited to join youth in the streets.

In Bend: Climate Strike to End the Era of Fossil Fuels, Bend City Hall@ 5PM

In Salem: See XRPDX’s “Zany Bits” at Salem’s Climate Strike to End Fossil Fuels, at the Capital Mall Park, September 15th@ 4PM

In Eugene: Join Eugene’s youth at Wayne Morse Free Speech Plaza@ 1:15 PM for the Eugene Climate Strike. 

In Portland: Join Portland Youth Climate Strike at Portland City Hall@ 11 AM, march@ 11:30 AM

Wear sturdy shoes, bring signs, lunch and water.

  1. Demand that Governor Kotek declare a climate emergency. Youth in communities across Oregon are striking. 
  2. Demand that the Department of Environmental Quality deny Zenith the air contaminant discharge permit they need to expand its fuel export terminal on seismically unstable ground along the Willamette in Portland.
